About Palparcel
Our vision is to be the most trusted way to send something to someone in Africa.
Our mission is to build a marketplace where trust is built into how it works — where every store is checked before you see it, every price is in naira, and no seller is paid until the parcel has landed.
We are building it as three things at once: a place to shop and to send gifts, a portal sellers run their business from, and a rider network that carries the parcel itself rather than handing it to someone we cannot see.
What we believe
Six things we hold to, and what each one actually means when you shop here.
You should never have to go first
Somebody carries the risk while a parcel is moving between strangers. It should not be the person who has not received anything yet.
What that means
Your money stays with us until your delivery has cleared. Only then is the seller's payout scheduled.
Every store here has been checked
A badge a marketplace hands out to itself is not worth much. The checking has to happen before a shop is allowed in.
What that means
A store that has not passed verification simply is not here — you cannot find it, follow it or buy from it.
The giving matters as much as the buying
So much of what leaves here is meant for someone else, and most shops treat that as a checkbox at the very end.
What that means
Hide the price, write a note and choose the wrapping while you shop — and the seller packs it exactly that way.
We carry it ourselves
It is hard to promise anything about a parcel you have handed to a company you never see.
What that means
Our own riders collect from the seller, and the same movement that updates their app updates your tracking.
In naira, from start to finish
Prices that shift between the shelf and the till are how people end up feeling caught out.
What that means
Every price is in naira on the product page, in your cart and on your receipt. Nothing is converted on the way.
Help should be able to help
An apology is not a remedy. Support is only worth something if the person you reach can still change what happens.
What that means
You start a return from the order itself — and since the seller has not been paid yet, we are still holding the money when you ask.
Four things we are building
Where each one stands today, rather than where we hope it will be.
Make trust structural
Move the guarantees out of the copy and into the machinery, so they hold whether or not anyone is watching.
Already working: Verification gates the public directory; payouts settle only after a delivery clears; only paid orders settle at all.
Make gifting a first-class way to shop
Treat sending something to someone as its own task with its own tools, rather than a checkbox bolted to a cart.
Already working: Price hiding, gift notes, wrapping and a gift finder that narrows the catalogue by occasion, recipient and budget.
Carry the last mile ourselves
Own the part of the journey every other marketplace outsources, because it is the part customers judge us on.
Already working: A rider app with routes, shift choice and live location; parcels matched to riders automatically at placement.
Give sellers a business, not a listing
A seller should get a storefront, a customer relationship and a payout schedule they can plan around.
Already working: A store page customers can follow, one portal for orders, stock and payouts, and scheduled settlement after deliveries clear.
How an order actually works
Four steps, and the fourth is the one worth reading.
You order from a verified store
Only verified sellers are listed. A store that has not cleared verification cannot be found, followed or bought from.
You pay once, securely
Card, bank transfer or USSD, handled by our payments provider. Your card details never touch Palparcel.
The seller packs, a rider carries
The seller marks it packed and one of our riders picks it up. The same movement updates your order and theirs, so tracking is not a guess.
The seller is paid after it lands
A seller's payout is scheduled only once your delivery has cleared. If the parcel never arrives, that money was never theirs to keep.

The part no one else builds
Every marketplace sells things you could give someone. Palparcel is built for the giving as well as the buying.
Try the gift finderHide the price
Turn it on and the person receiving it sees the gift, never what it cost.
Add a note
Write your message at checkout and it goes into the parcel with the gift.
We wrap it
Choose wrapping while you check out, and the seller packs it that way.
We help you choose
The gift finder narrows the whole catalogue by occasion, recipient and budget.
What you probably want to know
Every answer below is one line long. Open one if you want the detail behind it.
What is Palparcel?A Nigerian marketplace for shopping and gifting, where every store is verified before you see it and prices are in naira from the product page to the receipt.
Buying online in Nigeria still asks you to go first.
You send the money to someone you have never met, and then you wait. The badge that says a seller is trusted was awarded by the same site that wants your order. If the parcel never turns up, you are the one making phone calls.
And when you are buying for someone else it gets worse. You do the choosing alone, with no help beyond a search box — then the price you paid rides along in the box, printed on the invoice.
None of that gets better by apologising faster. It gets better by changing how the whole thing works. So that is what we changed.
Why should I trust Palparcel?Because your money does not reach the seller until your parcel reaches you. Here is what sits behind that.
Anyone can print a trust badge. We would rather tell you where the money is sitting while your parcel is on its way.
- The seller waits, not you
- A seller's money is scheduled once your delivery has cleared, not the moment you pay.
- Verified before you ever see them
- A store that has not passed our checks is not in the directory at all — not listed with a warning, simply not there.
- Gifting built in, not bolted on
- Hide the price, add a note, choose wrapping — on the same screens you already shop with.
How does buying work?Four steps: order from a verified store, pay once, a rider carries it, and the seller is paid only after it lands.
The fourth step is the one worth reading: your money sits with us while the parcel is moving, and a seller's payout is only scheduled once the delivery has cleared.

Try the gift finderHow does selling work? You open a store, pass verification, and list your stock. There is no fee to list — you are charged a commission on completed sales, and payouts are scheduled once deliveries clear.
- Your own storefront with its own name, rating and address
- Orders, stock and payouts in one portal
- Payouts scheduled after deliveries clear, on a rhythm you can plan around
How does delivery work? Our own riders carry it, to addresses in every state and the FCT, tracked from the moment the seller hands it over.
We take addresses in every state, and we carry parcels ourselves rather than handing them to someone we cannot see.
- Addresses across every state and the Federal Capital Territory
- Our own rider network, not an anonymous third party
- Tracked from the moment a seller hands it over
What if something goes wrong?Start a return from the order itself. Because the seller has not been paid yet, we can still step in — that window is the point of paying them late.
Every order you place has a returns option attached to it, and the request becomes a record you can come back to rather than a message that disappears. If you would rather talk to a person, the support address below is read by people who can act on it.
